Community Memorial Health System in California Lays Off 31 Employees

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, Calif., plans to eliminate 31 jobs, according to a Ventura County Star report.

CMHS officials said the layoffs were due to Medicare cuts and declining admissions. Laid off employees include clerical workers and technician positions in radiology, lab services, pharmacy and other areas, according to the report.
