The World Health Organization appointed Dr. Amelia Latu Afuhaamango Tuipulotu chief nursing officer.

Memphis, Tenn.-based St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has named Lori Spicer Robertson its vice president and chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. 

The following hospital and health system CEO moves have been reported by Becker's since Dec. 6: 

Aaron Kugelmass, MD, was named executive vice president and chief medical officer of Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brown Mills, N.J. 

Rena Marsh was appointed vice president and chief diversity officer for Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health.

Baligh Yehia, MD, was selected as the next president of Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health, effective Jan. 17.

Doug Cropper is leaving his role as president and CEO of Davenport, Iowa-based Genesis Health System.

Jeffrey Boscamp, MD, was named permanent dean of Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, the Nutley, N.J.-based organization said Dec. 12. 

Susan Turney, MD, the first CEO of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System, will step down in September 2023 after nine years in the role. 

West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health has named Renee Buzby its vice president of human resources, effective immediately.
