Riverside Healthcare in Kankakee, Ill., has named Kathy O'Grady, MSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer. The system also appointed Mary Kohl as its vice president of clinical services, according to a March 30 news release.

Scott Evans, PharmD, has been appointed as the new market chief executive officer for San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare Regional Hospitals.

Sebastian Strom, MD, was named CEO of HCA Florida Largo Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. 

Amar Desai, MD, has left his role as president of health care delivery at CVS Health after less than six months to return to UnitedHealth Group, where he will advise the CEO, Bloomberg reports. 

Ahmad Sharif, MD, has been named system medical director of clinical informatics at Irving, Texas-based Christus Health.

Bruce Viessman, vice president of operations for the Sanford Health Fargo (N.D.) network, will retire on March 31.
