Houston-based St. Luke's Health System President and CEO David Fine will leave his current position within the next 30 days to become president of the Catholic Health Initiatives Institute for Research and Innovation in in Englewood, Colo.

Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health has appointed Kelvin Lam, MD, chief medical officer of its West Bay region, effective Oct. 21, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

Southcoast Health System in New Bedford, Mass., has named Lisa Litchfield Zani associate chief nursing officer of St. Luke's Hospital, which is also located in New Bedford, according to a SouthCoast Business Bulletin report.

Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care has selected Michael Taylor as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lennox, Ill., has named John Krepps senior vice president and CFO.

Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, has named Thomas Malone, MD, president of Summa Akron City and St. Thomas hospitals, both located in Akron, according to a Record-Courier report.

Orlando (Fla.) Health has named Jamal Hakim, MD, interim CEO and president following Sherrie Sitarik's departure last week, according to an Orland Sentinel report.

Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, Wyo., has appointed Doug Faus as its new CEO, effective Nov. 18.

The University of Vermont Medical Group in Burlington has named Claude Deschamps, MD, president and CEO, starting in January.

The board of trustees at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, N.C. has named Paul Hammes CEO, effective Tuesday.
