Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare has made several executive changes as it moves to a new leadership structure.
The private, nonprofit, community-based healthcare system, which includes a 772-bed acute care hospital, said in a news release that the changes reflect “a transformation from a single hospital into a comprehensive, regionally focused health system.”
Mark O’Bryant will remain CEO of the system, continuing to provide organizational oversight and strategic direction for TMH’s business entities and ventures, according to the release.
Ryan Smith, MSN, RN, who most recently served as vice president and chief clinical officer at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, has been appointed president and COO of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. In his new role, Mr. Smith will oversee all operational responsibilities in the Tallahassee market, according to the release.
Andrew Starr, who joined TMH in 2020 as vice president and chief health operations officer, will advance to the position of president of the West Market. In his new role, Mr. Starr will be responsible for managing the construction, development and future operations of FSU Health Panama City Beach (Fla.) Hospital, according to the release.
The hospital is slated to open in 2028.
