Brian Smolskis was appointed president and CEO of California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, effective Dec. 8.
Mr. Smolskis most recently served as COO of Lompoc (Calif.) Valley Medical Center, a role he began in September 2024. He previously served as COO for multiple acute care hospitals at Whittier, Calif.-based PIH Health.
California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed facility and part of Dignity Health, which is based in San Francisco. Dignity Health is part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
