Cuyuna Regional Medical Center drops ‘interim’ from CEO Kyle Bauer’s title: 4 things to know

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn., named Kyle Bauer permanent CEO, according to a Brainerd Dispatch report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Bauer has been serving as interim CEO of the medical center, following John Solheim’s resignation from the role, effective October 2016.

2. In addition to serving as interim CEO, Mr. Bauer has served as the hospital’s CFO, a position he has held for 12 years.

3. Mr. Bauer has previously worked for Catholic Healthcare West in Phoenix and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minneapolis.

4. Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is a nonprofit organization, which includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, a surgery center as well as three outpatient clinics.
