Children’s Hospital Los Angeles selects new chief development officer: 4 things to know

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles appointed Alexandra Carter senior vice president and chief development officer.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ms. Carter most recently served as a fundraising advisor to Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System, Portland, Ore.-based Albertina Kerr Centers and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles.

2. Prior to that, she was chief development officer, academic institutes, for Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

3. She recently completed her term as a Board of Directors member of the National Association of Cancer Center Development Officers.

4. She earned her MBA from at Malibu, Calif.-based Pepperdine University.
