The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Fred Capozello, CEO of Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz., resigned from his position.

2. Randy Olson, CEO of Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, La., plans to retire.

3. Alex Villa, CEO of Bullhead City-based Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, is leaving his position to lead Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville (Tenn.).

4. Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health, a ministry of St. Louis-based Ascension, named Paul E. Cleckner COO. 

5. Coreen Dicus-Johnson was named president and CEO of Network Health, a health insurance company based in Menasha, Wis. The company is owned by St. Louis-based Ascension Health and Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health.

6. David S. Wagner was appointed CEO of Pearland (Texas) Medical Center, effective Aug. 8.

7. Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, N.C., named David Ziolkowski CEO, effective Aug. 22.

8. Pamela Lindemoen was appointed president of Dignity Health St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, effective Sept. 12.

9. Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System named B. Joseph Badalian COO of the six-hospital system, effective Sept. 1.

10. Charles Johnston, CEO of Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center in Bandon, Ore., was terminated without cause.

11. MetroHealth System, based in Cleveland, named Nabil Chehade, MD, senior vice president of population health, effective Aug. 1.

12. Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives appointed Robert J. Weil, MD, senior vice president and CMO, effective in September.

13. Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial HealthCare named Mark Modesto vice president and chief marketing executive, effective Aug. 15.

14. Marrero, La.-based West Jefferson Medical Center CFO Madeline Browning resigned as county officials and auditors scrutinize the hospital's deal with New Orleans-based LCMC Health.

15. Lewisville, Texas-based Adeptus Health, the largest operator of freestanding emergency rooms in the U.S., named Frank R. Williams Jr. executive vice president and CFO.

16. Paige Baker, MSN, RN, was named CNO of Lee's Summit (Mo.) Medical Center.

17. Brian Sinotte was appointed CEO of UP Health System – Marquette (Mich.), effective Aug. 15.

18. North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, Mont., selected Jason Cohen, MD, as CMO and Ryan Gunlikson, MD, as chief of staff.
