The iPhone maker released plans in January to integrate patient health records into its Health app as part of its iOS 11.3 beta rollout. The program launched at 12 hospitals, including leading providers like Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger and Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine. Since then, more than 100 hospitals, health systems and clinics have signed on to the project.
Ricky Bloomfield, MD, clinical and health informatics lead at Apple, tweeted an update on the initiative, including the six latest hospitals to join the project, Nov. 30.
Here are the six latest hospitals and clinics to adopt Apple’s health records feature:
1. Center for Manual Medicine in Topeka, Kan.
2. Deaconess Health System in Evansville, Ind.
3. Kishwar Shareef, MD, in Randolph, N.J.
4. Sunset ID Care in El Paso, Texas
5. Tower Health in Reading, Pa.
6. UC San Francisco Health
