The pitching demonstration marked culmination of the fourth-month TMCx program, which provided startups with more than 100 hours of entrepreneurship curriculum. In fall 2016, more than 300 companies applied to the program. The 21 selected startups — which made up the fourth class to complete the program — comprised projects leveraging virtual reality for mental health, genomic solutions for antidepressant prescribing and remote monitoring for identify high-risk pregnancies.
In total, the 21 startups executed 82 pilots and agreements and participated in 522 customer engagements during the program.
