Telemedicine seems to be the healthcare of the future — but is it a viable option for sleep apnea management?

Piscataway, N.J.-based Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care and Newark, N.J.-based Rutgers New Jersey Medical School launched a telemedicine program to help pediatricians identify mental illness in children, the university announced Jan. 3.

In 2017, 62 legislative bills in 34 states and Washington D.C., were passed and federal bills, which have typically been stalled in committees, have also made advancements through the House and Senate, according to the Center for Connected Health Policy.
