The collaboration will increase rural patients’ access to behavioral health services through Texas A&M University Health’s telemedicine model. Bryan, Texas-based CHI St. Joseph Health patients will be able to connect with a Texas A&M University Health behavioral health therapist via a video-based platform or telephone.
The virtual care services are free and cover conditions including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. The expansion of services is funded by a grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration.
