The study, published Sept. 13, comes as Congress looks to extend COVID-19 pandemic-era telehealth flexibility rules for opioid use disorder treatment. Additionally, the study showed that 54 percent of physicians found telehealth more effective than they thought.
The survey of 1,141 physicians was commissioned by the New Haven, Conn.-based Yale School of Public Health.
