Surescripts connects with pharmacy benefit managers, and PDR offers electronic prior authorization forms. By partnering with PDR, Surescripts’ CompletEPA solution will be able to process benefit data for nearly 100 percent of patients, according to the company.
“With greater nationwide coverage through PDR, CompletEPA can improve patient health outcomes, save doctor’s offices time and money and create a more efficient healthcare system,” said Mike Pritts, executive vice president of product innovation at Surescripts.
