Startup Pieces Technologies garners $21.6M in funding

Pieces Technologies, a healthcare outcomes software startup, has closed a $21.6 million Series A funding round.

Pacific Advantage Capital and Jump Capital led the investment round with participation from Children’s Health in Dallas and Order of Saint Francis Healthcare System in Peoria, Ill., amongst others.

The Pieces software platform was developed at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation in Dallas. The platform was first conceived by Pieces Technologies founder and CEO Ruben Amarasingham, MD. Dr. Amarasingham is also the president and CEO of the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation.

Pieces software focused on integrated monitoring, prediction, workflow optimization and organization learning services for hospitals, health systems and community organizations.
