The digital solution, CVS Express, integrates with the Woonsocket, R.I.-based retail drugstore’s app. In approximately one hour of making a purchase, customers can drive up to the store where the products will be delivered to their vehicle at no extra cost.
A CVS statement indicates the service is available for “all front store and over-the-counter-items,” meaning prescription drugs are not included in this type of delivery.
Currently the service is offered in San Francisco, Charlotte, N.C., and Atlanta, with plans to introduce it to additional locations later this year.
