Diagnostic imaging manufacturing operations at the plant — located in Highland Heights, Ohio, according to cleveland.com — make up less than 3 percent of the company’s total global diagnostic imaging sales volume.
Philips plans to refocus the Ohio site’s services on research and development for its CT and advanced molecular imaging businesses. The facility will also serve as a technical and clinical training hub for company field service engineers.
