“In today’s busy, highly-connected world, we believe our patients will value the ability to consult with a doctor at a time and place that’s convenient for them, “Troy Wood, vice president of business development for MountainStar Healthcare, told Utah Business. “Whether paying bills, checking bank balances or buying merchandise, an increasing number of people obtain what they need online.”

Physicians are able to diagnose and treat a variety of urgent care conditions using MDLive’s program, Virtual Care. The American Telemedicine Association estimates that over 450,000 Americans have used telemedicine visits this year, a number expected to grow to over 3 million by 2018.
