AMIA will continue the focus on the subspecialty and the newly certified physicians at iHealth 2014, the organization’s first dedicated conference for multidisciplinary clinical informatics practiioners.
The meeting will be held Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 in Orlando. Featured speakers include Lisa Simpson, president and CEO of AcademyHealth, Farzad Mostashari, MD, visiting fellow at the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at the Brookings Institution and former National Coordinator for Health IT, and Judy Murphy, RN, deputy national coordinator for programs at the ONC.
The conference will focus on using informatics to optimize care, reduce errors and develop evidence-based best practices.
