Fifty organizations that are part of the Chan Zuckerberg Institute’s Rare as One Network for rare disease advocacy will have access to Komodo’s technology, according to a Jan. 31 press release. The technology will help provide insights on demographic disparities and patient cohorts and connect patients to providers.
“We believe in the power of data and technology to unearth the critical insights needed to address the unmet needs of these patient communities,” Heidi Bjornson-Pennell, Rare As One program manager, said in the release.
The Chan Zuckerberg Institute is an initiative started by Facebook founder and owner Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, MD.
