The portal will allow patients to both view their electronic medical records and add information on exercise habits, over-the-counter medications and other aspects of their health, according to the report.
“The goal is to really help patients become more engaged in their healthcare,” said Laura McCrary, executive director of KHIN, in the report.
About one million patients, or a third of the state’s population, have records on KHIN, according to the report.
