Medopad applies technologies like remote patient monitoring, smartphone apps and data analytics to personalized patient care.
Under the agreement, researchers affiliated with John Hopkins University’s Global mHealth Initiative and the university’s Technology Innovation Center will use Medopad’s technologies to create joint clinical and public health projects.
For example, researchers will use Medopad’s datasets to develop predictive models and clinical decision support solutions. The two organizations also hope to improve population health monitoring by developing methods for early detection of disease outbreaks.
“By combining our resources and expertise we will be able to create innovative mobile health solutions and improve patient care on a global scale,” said Dan Vahdat, co-founder and CEO of Medopad.
