Here is what is most needed to alleviate nurses’ AI apprehensions, per the management consultant’s joint survey with the American Nurses Foundation of 7,200 nurses released Oct. 1:

1. Nurse input into tool design and implementation: 73%

2. Evidence of AI effectiveness on quality and patient safety: 69%

    Clear guidelines and regulations on AI use: 69%

4. Enhanced training and education on using AI: 65%

5. Strong data security and privacy for patient data: 63%

6. Clarity on how AI decisions are made: 59%

7. User-friendly AI interfaces and tools: 56%

8. Technical support and guidance: 53%
