Hoag has entered a 10-year partnership with Royal Philips to standardize and upgrade patient monitoring technology across its hospitals in Orange County, Calif.

Here are four things to know about the partnership:

  1. The agreement will implement Philips’ Enterprise Monitoring as a Service model, which is designed to create a unified and scalable monitoring environment to enhance patient safety and clinical efficiency, according to an Oct. 30 news release.

  2. The initiative includes the deployment of Philips’ IntelliVue MX750 bedside and X3 transport monitors across Hoag’s network, including its expanded Sun Family Campus in Irvine, Calif., which is slated to open in mid-2026 with 155 additional inpatient beds.

  3. According to the release, the new system will allow clinicians to continuously monitor patients and make informed decisions based on real-time data.

  4. The monitoring systems will be integrated with Hoag’s EHR platform.
