Edward-Elmhurst Health will use the tech platform across cancer care centers in Naperville, Elmhurst and Plainfield, according to a July 19 press release. The platform provides two-way communications with patients, triages patient questions and clinical concerns to the appropriate care team members, integrates with Epic’s EHR system and reduces hold times.

“This platform will allow our clinicians to automate tasks so that they can provide patients with an improved care experience,” said Mary Lou Mastro, CEO of South Region of NorthShore — Edward-Elmhurst Health.

The partnership will serve patients diagnosed with lung cancer, breast cancer and colorectal cancer.
