The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company is joining the trend of providing price transparency to users through HealthiestYou’s partnership with San Mateo, Calif.-based Pokitdok, a technology company that develops API solutions to provide price transparency.
HealthiestYou allows patients to schedule telehealth appointments online with licensed and credentialed physicians. It has licensed Pokitdok’s APIs so users can look up market prices in their area for treatments and specialists. It also allows them to check their insurance eligibility and includes 150 payers covering 90 percent of the market, according to MedCity News.
The company plans to add dermatologists, behavioral health specialists and second opinion services for video consults soon, according to the report.
