HIMSS Analytics developed the Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity to measure and advance organizations’ analytics capabilities. The eight-stage model measures several capabilities that organizations have gained from installing data warehousing technology and data governance.

Geisinger’s AMAM Stage 6 recognition emphasizes “a strong foundation of data content, infrastructure, data governance and analytics competency.”

Only three organizations in the world have achieved AMAM Stage 6: Geisinger, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Saudi Arabia.
