As Epic continues to solidify its grip over the EHR market, the software giant is launching new expansion projects in its home base of Verona, Wis.

EHR vendors have faced various challenges and opportunities over the years, and their performance in the marketplace has been influenced by regulatory changes, technology advancements and evolving healthcare needs, but one vendor continues to gain the hospital market share. 

Epic was born from a humbling lesson borne by its CEO, Judy Faulkner. Yet this experience left an indelible mark on the company and its leader.
