Oracle said it’s bringing a “rare mix of startup energy and enterprise reach” as it builds a new global hub in Nashville, Tenn.

The $57.4 billion software giant revealed in 2024 that it would be moving its world headquarters to the Music City, in part to reside amid an epicenter of healthcare business. Oracle bought EHR vendor Cerner in 2022 for $28.4 billion.

Now the company is recruiting tech workers to the city, as it aims to fill roughly 8,500 jobs by the end of 2031 at its soon-to-be-built campus, which has been estimated to cost up to $2 billion.

“You … feel the pull of two powerhouse industries — healthcare and technology — that are reshaping the city and creating new career paths,” Oracle wrote in a Nov. 19 recruitment article. “That makes it a smart bet for Oracle and a smart starting point for early-career professionals.”
