Hill-Rom’s Connex monitoring systems and connectivity technology for vital signs, as well as the company’s ECG device, meet the DOD’s cybersecurity prevention measures, which aim to minimize cyberattack risk.
Hill-Rom’s DOD-approved technologies are designed to limit device access to only authenticated users, provide secure transfer of information from the device to the EHR via data encryption and establish a password-protected network to help prevent inappropriate exposure or modification.
