The ambulance company, which has two sets of Google Glass, will begin testing the program with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
“We think it will do so much more to assist the patient and the physician,” Lauren Rubinson-Morris, president and CEO of MedEx, told the Tribune. “We’re excited.”
The paramedics will be using Google Glass with an app from Pristine to make the video feed HIPAA-compliant.
