BCBSNC became aware of the print errors on Aug. 14 and Aug. 24, respectively, according to a statement.
“To prevent [these errors] from happening again, a new quality review process was put into place,” the announcement states. “BCBSNC regrets these situations and any inconvenience they have caused. Letters to affected individuals regarding the incidents were mailed on Sept. 10, 2015.”
No personal financial information was disclosed among the compromised data in either breach, BCBSNC said.
