Approximately one week ago, China’s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television ordered Apple to shut down its iBooks store and iTunes Movies operations in the country.

But during a May 2interview on CNBC’s “Mad Money,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company is feeling optimistic in its ability to reemerge in China.

“What I can tell you there is we’re working with the relevant government agencies and other businesses, and we’re pretty confident and optimistic that we’ll be back online and offering those to our Chinese customers soon,” Mr. Cook said, according to the report.
