3 health systems join AI-focused Aegis consortium

New Haven, Conn.-based Yale New Haven Health, Los Angeles-based Keck Medicine of USC and Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare have joined the Aegis Digital Consortium, a collaboration of 14 regional health systems working to develop AI-powered health technologies.

The consortium aims to co-develop, invest in and deploy new technologies to improve patient care while creating diversified revenue streams for member systems, according to a Sept. 15 news release.

Other Aegis Digital Consortium members include Evanston, Ill.-based Endeavor Health, Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health, Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System, New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health, New Orleans-based Ochsner Health, Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, San Diego-based Sharp HealthCare, Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care, Pittsburgh-based UPMC and Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Health.
