InterConnect, which is administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and Appriss Health, join 37 states to securely exchange information related to controlled substance prescriptions. Through this network, physicians and pharmacists have access to comprehensive, multistate information about patients’ prescription histories.

Through this network, providers will be able to make informed and comprehensive medical decisions, which the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy hopes will help to combat prescription drug abuse throughout the United States.
