Through the service, health insurtech companies and carriers will be able to alert their customers when physicians or facilities leave, or join, a health plan’s network, according to a news release.

Vericred said the goal with the service is “to reduce the unexpected bills and administrative burden resulting from unintended use of out-of-network providers.”
