S&P raises Bon Secours Health System’s rating to ‘A’

S&P Global Ratings raised the rating to “A” from “A-” on Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System’s debt.

“The higher rating reflects our view of Bon Secours’ healthy enterprise profile, characterized by its broad geographic coverage across six states and stable market position in each of its local markets, along with its incrementally improved financial profile, including consistent financial performance in recent years,” said S&P analyst Jennifer Soule.

The outlook is stable.
