S&P assigns ‘AA/A-1+’ rating to Mayo Clinic

S&P Global Ratings assigned an “AA/A-1+” long-term rating to Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic’s series 2011B revenue bonds and a “A-1+” commercial paper rating to its series 2011A bonds.

The ratings reflect Mayo’s profile as one of the country’s leading healthcare organizations and its ability to attract tertiary and quaternary patients from around the world.  

The rating outlook is stable.
