Here are three things to know.
1. The goal with the partnership is “to integrate accurate patient cost estimates with payment processing services at every point of service,” according to a news release.
2. The partnership establishes a consumer-driven payment platform, the release notes, with HealthPay24 bringing its payment processing technology to the table, and Recondo offering “clarity to what the patient actually owes, based on the patient’s real-time insurance coverage or ability to self-pay.”
3. Recondo CEO Jay Deady said of the partnership: “Our partnership with HealthPay24 offers provider organizations the ability to leverage the integration of Recondo’s industry leading patient estimation accuracy and financial clearance solutions with HealthPay24’s proven patient payment solutions. Now hospitals can easily collect payments from healthcare consumers at any point of service, accelerating highly accurate, earlier collections.”
