“When it comes to patient payments, health systems often deploy an assortment of technologies from various vendors. These could include eCheck processing, credit card processing, posting services, online bill pay, check readers for point-of-service and more,” he said. “Instead, health systems should leverage an integrated solution that supports both payment and communication tools. By syncing payment and communication tools into one scalable system, financial communication can be linked to outcomes, or completed payments.”
Mr. Nalle argues that consolidating payment and communication tools lets organizations better see chances to improve their payment system.
