Landmark laid off 31 people a few weeks ago. This most recent round of cuts is intended to protect the “long-term operations” of Landmark, which has been in receivership since June 2008.
Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services, Landmark’s pending buyer, is advising the hospital, but a Landmark spokesperson said Special Master Jonathan N. Savage made the final decision about the layoffs.
