Moody’s upgrades Hackensack University Medical Center’s rating to ‘A2’

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded the rating on Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center to “A2” from “A3,” affecting $442 million of outstanding debt.

The rating upgrade reflects Hackensack’s improved financial performance and debt service coverage, as well as its growth in absolute and relative liquidity measures.

The outlook is positive, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that Hackensack will continue to improve its operating performance.
