Good Shepherd Begins Construction on New Entrance, Part of $247M Project

Part of a $247 million project, Barrington, Ill.-based Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital has begun work on its new main entrance, according to an article in The Daily Herald.

During the construction, the west entrance of the hospital will serve as the main entrance and the east entrance will serves as the emergency department and testing center entrance.

According to the article, the new space will provide patients with easy access to many departments from one location. The new space will also include an easier road to the entrance for better patient pickup and drop-off.

According to the article, the new entrance will provide a “much-need facelift” to the 35-year-old hospital.
