Fitch upgrades CentraCare Health System to ‘AA-‘

Fitch Ratings upgraded St. Cloud, Minn.-based CentraCare Health System’s rating to “AA-” from “A+.”

Concurrently, Fitch assigned its “AA-” issuer default rating to CentraCare.

The upgrade and assignment are a result of several factors, including the health system’s dominant market position, favorable payer mix, strong operating profitability and resilient leverage metrics.

The outlook is stable.
