Fitch affirms ‘BBB-‘ ratings for Marshall Medical Center

Fitch Ratings affirmed its “BBB-” issuer default and revenue bond ratings for Placerville, Calif.-based Marshall Medical Center.

The affirmation reflects Fitch’s expectation that the hospital will continue to leverage its leading market position as the sole provider in its primary service area and improve profitability now that operating disruption from its electronic health record implementation is over.

The rating outlook is stable.
