CoPatient launches expense management software for consumers, employers

Boston-based CoPatient has introduced a new service to help engage healthcare consumers on care expenses and reduce overall healthcare costs.

CoPatient now offers employer-sponsored medical bill negotiation and out-of-network claims management to address billing trends on behalf of consumers, employers and health plans. Employers will be able to offer employees protection from out-of-pocket costs and billing errors through CoPatient's subscription-based medical bill negotiation service.

The expanded services aim to reduce the financial burdens of healthcare expense management inquiries for employee HR departments and health plans.
