End Health Care Alliance includes Southampton (N.Y.) Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. According to the news report, the healthcare alliance was negotiating for market-level reimbursement rates. However, United Healthcare argued those requested rates were significant and “would adversely affect thousands of United Healthcare and Oxford members and clients,” according to the news report.
