Altius has opted to pull all 15 of its individual health insurance coverage offerings, according to a news release from the state exchange, Your Health Idaho. Consumers will still see a “robust variety” of health plans available, including 61 individual coverage options, 55 small group health plans, 13 individual dental plans and 17 small group dental plans, according to the release.

Coventry’s parent company, Aetna, has also opted not to participate in the new exchanges in various states such as New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Maryland, Connecticut, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.

Earlier this month, Coventry pulled out of Louisiana’s exchange, citing competition and its recent acquisition by Aetna as the reasons behind its decision. Additionally, Charleston, W.Va.-based Carelink Health Plans — which is run by Coventry —recently decided not to participate in the individual exchange in West Virginia.
