The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:
- Baptist Memorial Health Care (Memphis, Tenn.) — from A to A- (S&P)
- Lawrence Memorial Hospital (New London, Conn.) — from A to A- (S&P)
- Louisville (Ky.) Medical Center — from A to A- (S&P)
- Medical Center of Central Georgia (Macon) — from AA to AA- (S&P)
- Mercy Medical Center (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) — from A+ to A (S&P)
- Mission (Texas) Hospital — from Baa2 to Baa3 (Moody's)
- Southeast Missouri Hospital Association (Cape Girardeau) — from BBB- to B (Fitch)
